Dubai
Dubai is renowned not only for its Safari and towering structures but also for a new museum. The Museum of the Future, blending Islamic architecture with technology, takes on a distinctive crescent moon design. This museum, funded by the government and costing $136 million, provides a peek into the future and displays advanced construction methods. Visitors can explore futuristic displays inside, while the exterior features stunning Arabic calligraphy. Situated in central Dubai at 67CP+H4Q - Sheikh Zayed Rd - Trade Centre - Trade Centre 2, the museum is easily reachable. Ticket prices vary, with discounts offered for individuals under 18.
The 77-meter artwork symbolizes Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum's vision for Dubai's future and respect for his ancestors' history. While some view the museum as the height of architectural progress in Dubai, the designer sees potential for further improvement. The Museum of the Future logo cleverly depicts the torus-shaped structure, showcasing its inner and outer beauty. Operating from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM daily, the museum offers a journey to the year 2071. Spanning seven stories, with five dedicated to themed displays, the tour begins on the fifth level and progresses downward.
