NATURE, CULTURE & DEPARTURE

Continue the day with a visit to a traditional market — perfect for picking up souvenirs, local crafts, and aromatic goods. In the afternoon, head toward a scenic coastal area known for its dramatic cliffs, natural rock formations, and unique sea spray features. Enjoy photo stops and relaxing ocean views before beginning the journey back to the UAE around 5 PM.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Heed Warnings from Authorities Always listen to and follow any alerts or advisories issued by local officials. These are to protect you from hazards such as accidents, waterlogging, landslides, or unsafe areas.
Avoid Swimming in Springs Springs may look inviting but can be dangerous due to strong currents, varying depths, and hidden rocks. Swimming in these waters is strongly discouraged.
Beware of Slippery Roads Monsoon rains make roads in Salalah slippery and hazardous. Drive cautiously, especially on curves and steep slopes. Ensure your vehicle’s tyres and brakes are in excellent condition to handle wet roads.
Protect Against Mosquito Bites The monsoon season brings more mosquitoes. Use insect repellent and wear long sleeves and pants when visiting outdoor spots.
Avoid Rough Sea Conditions The monsoon often makes the sea rough and unsafe for swimming or boating. Stay away from the water during Khareef to avoid accidents.
Prepare for Rain and Mist Khareef weather includes intermittent rain and mist. Wear waterproof clothing, including a sturdy rain jacket, umbrella, and waterproof shoes to stay dry and comfortable while exploring slippery areas.
